In honor of Earth Day, the Grand Concourse Teen Center will be celebrating by giving away pots, soil, and seeds to go ahead and grow a plant! We will be demonstrating how to plant seeds properly to ensure plant growth and you'll see leaves sprouting by the beginning of May! We will be giving away prizes along with the potted seeds each teen create! Stop by and plant a seed!

Over the course of this interactive eight-week bilingual jazz series, families will explore core concepts of jazz such as swing, blues, improvisation, and other jazz essentials. Together we will develop our imagination, creativity, and musicality while swinging nursery rhymes in both Spanish and English, creating and singing our own blues songs, scatting like Ella or improvising like Coltrane, and of course jamming with a live jazz band!
