    Freegal is a music download service that allows Library cardholders to download three songs a week from the entire catalog of Sony Music. Patrons can browse by artist or genre and listen to sample clips. Freegal works with any mp3 device, including ipods.

    Digital Collections provides free access to more than 800,000 digitized items from the holdings of The New York Public Library, with new items added every day.

    HathiTrust is a large-scale digital repository of content shared by more than 80 library partners. Its goal is to serve as both a secure and trusted repository of content, as well as a central point of access to that content. Currently, all NYPL items deposited in HathiTrust stem from NYPL’s partnership with Google for offsite book scanning.
