  • Audio Book Cloud

    Listen online to audio books in many different categories: fiction, non-fiction, classics and even Spanish language audio books! There are 1,000 books in the collection. These books are always available, never on hold, and no need to download.

    NYPL Digital Gallery provides free and open access to over 700,000 images digitized from  The New York Public Library's vast collections, including illuminated manuscripts, historical maps, vintage posters, rare prints, photographs and more.

    Freegal Music

    Freegal is a music download service which allows Library cardholders to download three songs a week from the entire catalog of Sony Music. Patrons can browse by artist or genre and listen to sample clips. Freegal works with any mp3 device, including ipods.

  • NYPL Collections Scanned By Google Image

    NYPL Collections Scanned By Google

    NYPL is working with Google to offer a portion of its collection online via Google Book Search. The items being digitized in this project are chosen based on the following criteria: they are in the public domain (published before 1923) and they are in good enough physical condition to withstand scanning.
