This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts and typescripts, correspondence
by and about the author, a notebook for 1901-1902, legal documents, and portraits. The
collection includes holographs and typescripts of essays, articles, poems, obituaries,
criticism, notes toward works, plays, synopses, lectures, and translations of poems and
plays. The collection contains correspondence from the author, dating from 1908 to 1939,
to Richard Aldington, Henry Seidel Canby, Ivy Clegg, Anne Fremantle, Lady Gregory, Sir
Edward Howard Marsh, his daughter Ann Wolfe, his wife Jessie Chalmer Graham Wolfe, James
B. Pinker and Son, and others. It also contains letters relating to the author, dating
from 1920 to 1944, between various correspondents including Gordon Bottomley, Lee
Keedick, Leon M. Lion, Edward John Thompson, Ann Wolfe, Jessie Chalmers Graham Wolfe,
