Nathaniel Parker Willis was an American novelist, poet, essayist, journalist, and literary critic.

Scope and Content Note Table of Contents

This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts and correspondence by the author. The manuscripts comprise two poems and an epistolary essay. The correspondence includes letters from the author, dating from 1840 to 1863, to Henry Russell Cleveland, Benson J. Lossing, General George P. Morris, and others. There is also a letter, dated June 11, 1856, from George Pope Morris to Willis.
