Cynthia - couldn't have put it better myself! It's such a small & decadent piece of nature in this congested city and we should all have the pleasure of enjoying it much more frequently! I'll admit to truly enjoying the fashion shows, but they are soon to be relocated. What will they put up in place of those shows?? I'm sure we will be saddened to discover that "nothing, just lush, green grass" will not be the answer... The way we all compete for a patch of grass in the summer is a strong testament to New Yorker's desires for more real park time in Bryant.
