Poor use of space

The New York Public Library's newly redesigned website is not user-friendly at all.

They're wasting almost 80% of the home page space for only 4 links for their own 'promotion' reasons. Why do they think that I want to go there? It's not guided, it's forced.

Definitely not user-friendly.
