For anyone interested in more on Victoria and Albert, I just finished "We Two:Victoria and Albert: Rulers, Parnters, Rivals" By Gillian Gill. It is terrific and the author is extra smart in including how prior historians have characterized their relationship, what she thinks and her own lively take on things, making judgments without being judgmental. Beware the book's set-up of the family tree is a bit name-soupy at first, but soon irons out to a gripping read with many intimate details of the royal marriage and family life. Jessica
