Automobile Catalogs 1903-1915 (3-TOP Vol. (p.v.) 5 – 109)
Below are listings of Automobile Manufacturer's Catalogs contained in select volumes from NYPL's Technology and Transportation pamphlet collections. More information about these collections can be found here: Taking the Wheel: Manufacturers' Catalogs from the First Decade of American Automobiles (a brief list of digitized materials can be found here, and material on Franklin cars here). In addition, a listing of another set of Automobile Catalogs can be found here: Historical Automobile Catalogs. An additional discussions of these materials can be found here.
In order to help researchers identify the contents of individual pamphlet volumes, each catalog has been designated with a title (generally the manufacturer's name or vehicle marque) and possibly includes other text on the cover page or inside cover and contains relevant model information (with list prices when available). There is also a short physical description of the individual catalog.
The entries here are for Pamphlet Volumes in the 3-TOP location at SIBL.They are listed in order by call number (Pamphlet Volume Number) and the individual pamphlet number within each volume. Gaps in the numbering reflect missing volumes or catalogs.
