Notes: The United States Historical Census Browser, made available with the cooperation and consent of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) in Ann Arbor, Michigan, provides population and economic census data for U.S. states and counties from the years 1790-1960. In addition to presenting data in tables arranged by state or county, this source will graph variables by geographic location and perform simple calculations on designated variables.
