Resource Room

  • A collection of resources for parents, caregivers, teachers, and other early childhood professionals.
  • Reference and circulating collections on prenatal care, childbirth, child development, early education, health and nutrition, and parenting.
  • Special needs collection for teachers and parents of gifted children, special children, and children with learning disabilities.
  • A wide variety of periodicals related to young children, including back issues of many of the titles.

Family Room

  • Picture books, board books, videocassettes, and audio materials for children.

ECRIC Workshops and Seminars

A variety of workshops and seminars presented by leading early childhood educators and childcare practitioners on a wide variety of topics related to young children. All programs and services are free. Advanced registration is required for all programs. A list of these programs is available through The New York Public Library Events calendar or the "Events for Adults and Young Adults" bulletin available through your local branch library. Unless otherwise indicated these workshops are for adults only. Babysitting service is not available.
