Bronx Council on the Arts
Officially designated cultural agency of Bronx County. Promotes community interest in the arts through programming, technical assistance, and grants. Sponsors several projects and facilities, including the Longwood Arts Project, The Bronx Writers' Center, The Business Center for the Arts, and Arts in Education. Information provided through the site includes an events calendar.

I Love the Bronx
Information from the Bronx Tourism Council about upcoming events and numerous tourist attractions in the Bronx.

Judaica Museum
The Museum features monthly lectures, concerts and multi-media programs related to Jewish life and culture.

Maritime Industry Museum at Fort Schuyler
The Fort Schuyler Museum is housed on the campus of the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College at historic Fort Schuyler, The Bronx, New York. The museum offers one of the largest collections of maritime industry materials in the nation and is displayed chronologically.

The Bronx Mall's Cultural Mosaic
The creators of the Bronx Mall and Bronx Sidewalks Web sites feature such Bronx cultural institutions as the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Wave Hill, the Bronx Arts Ensemble, and the Bronx Opera Company in their Cultural Mosaic Web page. The Bronx Museum of the Arts
Founded in 1971 to serve the diverse community of the Bronx and the metropolitan area. The Museum offers exciting exhibitions, provides quality education programs to children and adults, and presents popular public programs.

The New York Botanical Garden
Provides links detailing this national historic landmark's botanical collections (such as the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory's reopening), its educational programs, scientific research, and upcoming events.

The Point Community Development Corporation
THE POINT is an emergent non-profit organization dedicated to youth development and the cultural and economic revitalization of the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx.

Van Cortlandt House Museum
Van Cortlandt House located in Van Cortlandt Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and its interior and exterior are designated New York City Landmarks.

Performing Arts

Bronx Arts Ensemble
A professional performance ensemble with a year-round schedule of chamber music and orchestral concerts, as well as special programs for families and a full music and arts-in-education program for schools.

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts
Located at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West the Center offers a wide variety of performing arts programs. Tickets may be purchased weekdays in person or by telephone at (718) 960-8833 using a major credit card. Tickets to events sponsored by the Center are also available through TicketMaster at (212) 307-7171.

Teatro Pregones
Puerto Rican-American troupe from New York's South Bronx.

The Bronx Opera Company
The Bronx Opera Company was founded in 1967. All its productions are sung in English and are performed at Lehman College's Lovinger Theatre. Bronx Opera's modest ticket prices allow its high quality professional productions to be accessible to all.

Visual Arts

Art or Anarchy? Graffiti in the Bronx
Dedicated to artistic graffiti in the Bronx. Intended to educate the public on the nature of true artistic graffiti, to promote its creators, to provide an open forum for public opinion, and to highlight new exciting pieces created by area residents.

En Foco
A non-profit organization that showcases work by photographers of African, Asian, Latino, and Native American descent.

Focal Point Gallery
A gallery located on City Island in the Bronx.
