Neighborhoods
A Guide to City Island
Provides links to area businesses, restaurants, and community organizations. Of particular interest is a unique listing of nautical Web sites that offer information about shipbuilding, chartering, and navigation. In addition, this site provides access to a bulletin board that enables users to post and read messages that pertain to interests and issues of City Island residents.
Arthur Avenue
Provides information about Belmont, the Little Italy section of the Bronx, including local theater, cultural and religious institutions, people and festivals, and local merchants.

Highbridge: Da Bronx
This site is composed of a series of pages that are the outgrowth of Highbridge residents working to re-establish their neighborhood as a viable, meaningful and safe haven for all who reside there. Here you will find parts of the story "Collective Inspiration" written by Highbridge residents ranging from 13 to 90 years of age. Also available are articles about Highbridge as well as historical and present-day photographs of the neighborhood.
Pelham Parkway Mall
Created by the White Plains Road Business Improvement District. Lists addresses and telephone numbers for local stores, restaurants, and medical offices. Scroll to the bottom of the page for links to government officials, local resources, and history.
The Bronx Board
Users must register in order to post messages to the Bronx Board. Other features, including photo galleries, school alumni databases, polls and surveys about Bronx related topics, do not require registration.
The Pelham Parkway Times
Focus on those who grew up in the Pelham Parkway neighborhood from 1930 to 1960. Some portions of the site, including a message board and a chat room, require registration. Through responsive programs and services in a safe and supportive environment, East Side House empowers people of all ages in the South Bronx to improve the quality of their lives.
Fordham Bedford Housing Corporation
Established by local tenant and neighborhood leaders in 1980. Formed to prevent the spread of housing deterioration so prevalent in other parts of the Bronx and NYC at the time, the Housing Corporation now provides management and oversight for more than 70 tenant and community controlled buildings with 1400 affordable apartments.
University Neighborhood Housing Program
Founded in 1983, UNHP works to create, preserve, and finance affordable housing through community lending, neighborhood organizing around issues that impact affordable housing, and by providing technical assistance to tenant and not-for-profit housing groups.

Bronx Community Paper Company
An innovative effort to harness New York City's urban forest, which includes the 1.2 million tons of paper the city throws out every year, by building a paper de-inking and newsprint production facility in the city.
Bronx Information Network Consortium
A non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and coordinate the collaborative and cooperative use of technology among non-profit organizations based primarily in the Bronx or surrounding communities.

South East Bronx Neighborhood Centers Incorporated
