Booktalking "Pino and the Signora's Pasta" by Janet Pedersen
All of the feral cats of Rome eagerly anticipate the delicious pasta that is regularly brought by the Signora. All except for one—Pino. Pino craves for a more feline-friendly dish—perhaps a chop, stew or fish. Something more fit for the princely creature that he is.
He set out in search of tastier fare. Maybe fish from a cafe or pizza from the local shop would satisfy. Unfortunately, all he got was the boot. Pino got tired of being treated so disgracefully. So the wafting aroma of freshly cooked pasta beckoned to him.

I love pasta, and I miss eating it now that I am on a gluten-free diet.
