Year Up New York: Free Job Training Programs
Six million young adults are disconnected from stable career pathways. Fourteen million jobs requiring post-secondary education will go unfilledd in the next decade.
Year Up connects young adults who need opportunity with companies who need their talent.
Year Up New York is a one-year, intensive training program that provides low-income young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, college credits, and corporate internships. Located across the street from the New York Stock Exchange in the heart of New York City’s financial district, the site serves urban young adults from across the five boroughs.
Year Up New York is excited to introduce two new areas of study:
Anti-money Laundering training teaches students how to perform operations support roles on teams at major financial services firms that investigate potential anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing activities. Read more
Digital Advertising training introduces students to the fields of marketing and advertising, with a focus on the organizations, processes, and systems involved in the buying and selling of online advertisements. Read more
Year Up places 100% of their qualified students into internships. 84% of their graduates are employed or in college full time within four months of graduation. Watch to learn more.
