Peace, Love and Cupcakes comprises Sadie, Kylie, Lexi and Jenna, all from Blakely Elementary's fifth grade. The girls are on a mission: to bake as many scintillating cupcakes as possible to deliver to their faithful customers! Their "No Business Like Snow Business" Snowball Coconut Cupcakes are especially coveted. Cupcake points to anyone who wants to order cupcakes to get free cupcakes! Juliette is their cupcake advisor, a teacher at school who gives the girls business advice.

Sadie loves basketball almost as much as cupcakes. She inherited the tall gene from her parents, and she excels on the court. Hopefully, her parents will be able to reconcile their differences. With the faltering economy and consequent lack of business for her father, the two have been arguing quite a bit.

When Mr. Ludwig's roof on the Golden Spoon is decimated during the blizzard, Sadie is sure that her father can mend it, if he would only give it a try.

The girls are excited beyond belief when their promo video for The Battle of the Bakers television cupcake competition is accepted. They are going to be TV stars! Taste, texture and presentation rule the roost... until they must build a display for 500 cupcakes!

This was too similar to Cupcake Wars on the Food Network for my taste. Mother and daughter wrote this story together.
