The U.S. Chamber of Commerce: Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair March 27

Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, was launched in March 2011 as a nationwide initiative to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's network of 1600 state and local chambers and other strategic partners for the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair, sponsored by The University of Phoenix, will take place on March 27, 2014, at 69th Regiment Lexington Avenue Armory, 68 Lexington Avenue, Manhattan, New York, NY 10010. This fair is a unique FREE hiring fair for employers and members of our military community - veterans, active duty service members, members of the guaard and reserves, and military spouse job seekers.

This University of Phoenix-sponsored hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the New York National Guard, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the New York Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the United States Army Reserve (USAR), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, The American Legion, Goodwill Industries International, , the NYS Department of Labor, NYC Department of Small Business Services, NBC News, and other local partners.
