January 2012 NYPL Blog Highlights
Is it really the end of January? It doesn't feel like it... (60º F?!)
Either way, the NYPL Blogs have been off to a great start in 2012. In case you're just joining us...
- We sang show tunes and danced on stage.
- We danced our faces off and laughed our... um... we laughed out loud.
- We looked back at accomplishments and favorites of 2011 and forward to good fortune in 2012.
- We recovered from our holiday partying.
- We remembered people and places we've lost.
- We discussed a Sherlockian mystery and solved one of our own.
- We talked to a teen, a romance expert, an art collective and a woman originally from Masailand.
- We made a wish (list) with our favorite ebooks.
- We wished it was closer to Halloween.
- We let it snow at least once this month. And we were prepared.
- We mapped it out, and explored some Greenwich Village haunts.
- We pored through literary engravings, over perfectly steeped tea.
- We got excited to watch new and classic films... and football.
- Empezamos a hablar en español.
- We experienced synchronicity.
