Reader's Den: "Infinity" by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Welcome to the November edition of the Readers Den! For the month of November, we will be reading Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

As a little introduction to the book:

Nick Gautier is an average 14 year old boy; he goes to school and listens to his mother.  The only problem is: his friends are trouble, and when Nick decides not to mug a tourist, they turn on him. Enter Kyrian of Thrace, who introduces Nick to a new world — a world that is full of monsters that bump in the night and demons that hide in plain sight.

New Orleans is never the same again for Nick. Thugs are replaced by monsters, and nowhere is safe... especially when you work for a Dark Hunter. Battling real demons is so different from fighting humans...

Kenyon, better known for her Dark-Hunter series for adults, is the author of Infinity, the first book in the Chronicles of Nick, a young adult prequel series. Written as an alternate universe to the original Dark-Hunter series, Infinity whets your appetite for the original, but it is not necessary to be a fan or to have read her other books to enjoy Nick's story.

For more information, check out Kenyon's website! To get in on the discussion, reserve your very own copy of Infinity in print or as an e-audiobook.

Check back during the month of November for discussion questions and more information about the Chronicles of Nick series. Comments are welcome!
