Nathalie:  I came to get books.

How long have you been coming to the library?

Nathalie: Since I was 2.

Really? That’s a long time! So your parents are into reading and just brought you to the library?

Nathalie: 'Cause my mom used to babysit and she would come to the library to take out books all the time. But then my name got a HUGE fine on it because she never returned them!

Hayley: A similar thing happened to me, I started going to the library when I was 10 and I lost all the books so I stopped going to the library until last year.

What made you come back last year?

Hayley: The Fresh Start program waived my fines.

Do you usually get books or movies from the library?

Nathalie: I get books!

Hayley: Me too, I get books and movies. Mostly anime though.

What was the last anime you got?

Hayley: Princess Tutu. It’s about some girl. It’s like a Sailor Moon thing. She’s like a superhero ballerina.

Nathalie: Mighty Mouse!

Hayley: She like fights people with her ballet moves.

And you are into dancing so you must be into that!

Hayley: Yeah!
