Yes!

How old are you now?
I’ll be 24.

Wow, I’ve known you in the library ever since you were around 14?
Yes, I’ve been coming here since 2000.

And you’ve been coming pretty regularly ever since.
Yeah.

What brings you to the library today?
Initially I was going to return some movies and pick up two others. I basically come to the library to get movies and put movies on hold – same with books.

What’s the last movie you saw that you liked?

I put it on hold - Knock On Any Door with Humphrey Bogart, that one was pretty decent - a departure from the tough guy character that he plays.

So you come here because we have a good video collection?
That’s only part of the reason!

So cool.

I really enjoyed this, thanks Frank! -Jennifer K.

NYPL DVD collection is AMAZING.

Thanks for this post! I am smitten with the NYPL DVD collection as well as the NYPL.org queue process for managing lists and holds. For my family, NYPL is a very easy (and free -- who doesn't love that?) substitute for Netflix. I use the "Lists" feature to mix book and music holds into my weekly media feed -- something Netflix does not offer.
