Hand-Made
Modern Women of Sewing!
Next Saturday (December 12th) is shaping up to be a great afternoon of handmade fun at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building , with three--yep, three--amazing special guests! Heather Ross, author of Weekend Sewing; Denyse Schmidt, author of Denyse Schmidt Quilts; and Liesl Gibson of Oliver + S
They'll share tales of their art, design, and inspiration. And of course I'll have a cartful of specially selected Library books to share, as well as some ideas for projects to get you started stitching if you wish. Early next week I'll post any details on suggested supplies to bring along. In the meantime, enjoy your weekend--and if you have any immediate questions, please leave them as a comment! Maura and I look forward to seeing you on the 12th! (And our thanks go out to Heather Ross, who created this stunner of a poster especially for this Handmade Crafternoon!)
