Public Space, Above and Below : Mark Wigley
In the last ten years, how has the reinvention of public space changed the landscapes of major American cities? What changes can we expect to see in our parks, modes of transportation, and our daily commute? Artist Chris Russell, NYC Commissioner of Transportation Janette Sadik-Khan, architect Michael Van Valkenburgh, and architecture scholar Mark Wigley will discuss new attitudes, new designs, trends, and hidden public gems.
