In 2010 he published a translation, from the French,  of Abdelfattah Kilito’s novel The Clash of Images.
Adam Shatz is a contributing editor at The London Review of Books, for which he regularly reports from the Middle East. His articles have also appeared in The New York Review of Books, Slate, and The Nation. He is currently a consultant to the Open Society Institute’s Arab Transitions Forum.
