An editor and commentator for National Public Radio’s This American Life, she has performed at venues ranging from the Aspen Comedy Festival to the Late Show with David Letterman. She is a regular contributor to Time, McSweeney’s, and Salon.com. The author of Radio On: A Listener’s Diary and Take the Cannoli: Stories from the New World, Vowell has most recently written Partly Cloudy Patriot, forthcoming from Simon & Schuster.
