Three months of researching glam at The New York Public Library, plus three months working in the studios at New York City's High Scool of Fashion Industries, have all lead up to this moment: Glam-Prom, the 2010 Anti-Prom. Watch what happens at the runway show--and see who gets picked prom king and queen!
The Anti-Prom provides an alternative, safe space for all teens who may not feel welcome at official school proms or dances because of their sexual orientation, the way they dress, or any other reason.
Initial funding for The New York Public Library's LGBT initiative was provided by TimeWarner.

Joy and Happiness for Expression
Submitted by Ramona Sivells on August 16, 2010 at 2:01 PM.
Its so fabulous that the creativity was given an outlet to express themselves. I didn't have that opportunity growing up. My father didnt understand it. Sometimes I wish I could relive this hunger that I have for fashion. Say focus children because no one can put your creativity in a box. Fly, Fly, Fly!!
