Kweli, an online literary journal, celebrating cultural kinships and the role of the literary imagination will be featured with Editors Laura Pegram and Naomi Extra in conversation with contributors Rachel Eliza Griffiths, Toni Plummer, and Nicole Vasquez. Brief readings by the authors will be followed by an in-depth discussion using two defining photography books as jumping off points: Nothing Personal, by Richard Avedon and text by  James Baldwin; and A Kind of Rapture, by Robert Bergman, with an introduction by Toni Morrison.
