The 80th birthday in March 2008 of three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee (A Delicate Balance, Seascape, Three Tall Women) was the cause for much celebration throughout the theater world. On April 17, 2008, Albee, a frequent participant in the Performing Arts Library's programs, talked about his life and work with his friend Marian Seldes, who had appeared in several of his plays. Albee's best know play, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, featured prominently in the discussion.
