The Interview with David Gordon, conducted by Gia Kourlas, was audio recorded on June 4 and 6, 2012.
In this excerpt, David Gordon discusses his heady days in the Art Department at Brooklyn College and becoming immersed in New York City cultural life. Gordon also describes meeting dancer Valda Setterfield, who would eventually become his wife.
The Oral History Project Interview with David Gordon was made possible with assistance from the New York State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Post-production work on this interview is in progress. The full transcript and audio are expected to be available in early 2013 on-site on the third floor of the Library for the Performing Arts.
