Paul Messier gives a brief history of silver gelatin papers. The introductory presentation at "Characterization of Silver Gelatin Photographs," a collaborative workshop in photographic conservation presented by The Foundation of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works and The New York Public Library.
