Audio and Video from The New York Public Library

Each year at its 91 locations throughout Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island, The New York Public Library offers more than 25,000 free public programs and exhibits. Here you will find audio files, videos, and slideshows from some of those events. Content is organized by the name of a series or program and is also grouped into audio or video sections. Many files are available in streaming as well as downloadable formats. (Please note that the Library is migrating its audio and video files to new formats; accordingly, during this ongoing project you will find files in a variety of formats including RealMedia and WindowsMedia, which may not be playable on all computers.) You may also find audio and video generated by the Library on our iTunes University site and YouTube channel by following links at the bottom of the page.
