Collection consists of typescripts of Bain's writings and his manuscript notes. Writings include short stories, play, essays and articles submitted to magazines, and his memoirs.
George Grantham Bain (1865-1944), writer and inventor, founded the Bain News Service in New York City in 1907. Heorganized the first news photograph service in the U.S. and invented an automatic photo printer.
