Scope/Contents Note

Collection consists of correspondence files of the secretary of the Association of Manufacturers of Metal Covered Doors and Windows. The Association corresponded with manufacturing firms, the Building Trades Employers' Association of the City of New York, and the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #28. Correspondence, 1917-1920, concerns membership in the Association, disputes between members and the union local, fines levied against members for not abiding by the by-laws, and meetings of the Association.
