Records consist of correspondence and poems of Frank Allaben; Washburn family papers including correspondence, account books, and writings; materials concerning the Genet family; records of the National Historical Company, the National Historical Society and the Journal of American History; and related items, such as spikes (with photographs) from the U.S.S. Niagara.

Biographical/Historical Note

Frank Allaben (1867-1927) was editor of the Journal of American History from 1912 to 1926 and wrote on genealogical and historical topics.
