The collection consists of letters received from Denison descendants, notes, and data used by William M. Clift in the compilation of "A record of the descendants of Capt. George Denison, of Stonington, Conn." written with John D.Baldwin (Worcester: Tyler & Seagrave, 1881), as well as corrections and additions received after the book was published.
