Scope/Contents Note
This is a synthetic collection consisting of a mimeograph of a manuscript, correspondence, and legal documents. Themimeograph is a circular letter to the editor of The Times,dated 1905 and 1906, drafted by Bernard Shaw at the request of William Rothenstein and Emery Walker, and signed by Zangwill and others. The correspondence comprises letters from the author, dating from 1895 to 1918, to Sir Hall Caine, Violet Hunt, James B. Pinker, Clement King Shorter, the literary agency T. Fisher Unwin,and others.
