This is a synthetic collection consisting of correspondence. The correspondence includes letters from Wise, dating from 188-? to 1935, to Sir Sidney Colvin, H. Buxton Forman, de V. Payen-Payne, Eric S. Pinker, AlgernonCharles Swinburne, Cyril Hackett Wilkinson, and others, aswell as letters relating to the author, dating from 1876 to 1939, between various correspondents, including Harry Treffry Dunn, H. Buxton Forman, W. T. H. Howe, E. V. Lucas,Wilfred George Partington, Theodore Watts-Dunton, the literary agency James B. Pinker and Son, and others.
