This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts and correspondence. The manuscripts comprise two poems and an epistolary essay. The correspondence includes letters from the author, dating from 1840 to 1863, to Henry Russell Cleveland, Benson J. Lossing, General GeorgeP. Morris, and others. There is also a letter, dated June 11, 1856, from George Pope Morris to Willis.
