Scope/Contents Note
This is a synthetic collection consisting of correspondence by the author and a typescript related to him. The undated typescript, entitled "The Via Tornabuoni," is by Max Beerbohm with his manuscript corrections. The correspondence, dating from [1832] to 1858, is from the author to Charlotte Francis Barrett, Catherine Frances Gore, J. F. Macfarlan, his niece Margaret Trevelyan, and anumber of unidentified correspondents.
