Scope/Contents Note
The collection consists of recordings of two songs from Man of La Mancha (Impossible dream and Dulcinea), a recording of J.F.K., an unproduced musical (music by AllanJay Friedman), and a recording of the musical, Western Star, by Scott DeTurk. Commercial recordings separated from Theatre Division have been separately cataloged.
Biographical/Historical Note
Dale Wasserman playwright, screenwriter and television writer worked in show business since the age of nineteen. His early forays into theater include work as a lightingdesigner, director and producer. Around 1955 he began hiswriting career and it is this for which he is best noted.
