Scope/Contents Notes
This collection contains taped interviews of celebrities by Clark Taylor. Many interviews were conducted in cafes and restaurants, and the background noise is sometimes quite loud. Clark Taylor often started taping in the middle of the conversation, so that the interviews appear to have the beginning cut off.
The interviewees include many stage, film, and television personalities such as Jeff Bridges, Carol Burnett, Ellen Burstyn, Truman Capote, Sir John Geilgud, Sophia Loren, Susan Sarandon, Martin Scorsese and many others.
Biographical/Historical Note
Clark Taylor was a freelance writer for performing arts periodicals including the Village Voice in the 1970's and 1980's.
