Scope and arrangement
These audio tapes were collected by Teiji Ito and consist of many of his musical compositions, performances, interviews, and lectures. The music tapes consist primarily of works for the theater, in addition to several major dance and film compositions. Most of the works are not attributed to any specific date. The span of dates to works to which a date has been assigned by the composer is 1962 - 1982.
The Teiji Itō collection of noncommercial recordings [sound recording] is arranged in five series:
-
The series includes interviews with Ito, as well as with cast members of theatrical works for which Ito wrote accompanying scores.
-
The series includes various dance compositions by Ito.
-
The series includes twelve recordings of film music composed by Ito.
-
This is the largest series in this collection, containing twenty recordings of compositions for the theater written by Ito.
-
