American dramatist and puppeteer, Mildred Sherman, was director of the Gellendré Theatre Studio in New York City from the 1940s to the mid-1960s. This collection contains correspondence, photographs, performance programs, press clippings, and scripts documenting Sherman's personal lifeand professional career.
