Scope/Contents Note

Collection consists of personal and professional papers ofLamb, personal papers of Jacqueline L. MacNish, and clippings about Panama. Lamb's papers contain correspondence and reports relating to his service with the police in Panama, personal papers, and writings including draft of autobiography. Papers and correspondence, 1923-1927, of MacNish concern her divorce.

Biographical/Historical Note

Albert Roswell Lamb served as a member of the Washington, D.C. police force from 1906 to 1916. In 1917 he was appointed head of the National Police in the Republic of Panama and served in that post until 1928.
