Correspondence of members of the White family, settlers ofteh town of Lancaster, New Hampshire, and of descendants who migrated to Cincinnati, Ohio, particularly William A. White, who was a travelling salesman in Kentucky and otherstates adjacent to Ohio during the 1860s and 1870s, including letters about the death of a young girl in a panic at Robinson's Opera House, Cincinnati, February 5, 1876. Among the papers is an inventory and appraisal of the estate of Capt. John White, late of Methuen, Massachusetts, October 1800.
