Scope/Contents Note
Collection contains materials used in the 1994 and 1995 observances of Day Without Art (Dec. 1, World AIDS Day) atthe New York Public Library (NYPL). The 1994 exhibition consisted of envelopes and artifacts addressed by NYPL staff to friends and relatives who died of AIDS-related causes. The 1995 exhibition consisted of messages by the staff to or about individuals who died of AIDS-related causes.
