About the Clason's Point Library

The Clason's Point Branch of The New York Public Library, a modern, spacious, brick building located on Morrison Avenue between 172nd Street and Westchester Avenue, was opened in May 1974. Open to the public since 1952, the library was previously located at Harrod Place. Fully accessible to people who use wheelchairs, the one-story facility houses an adult, young adult, and children's collection. A meeting room located at the rear of the library is available for community group meetings, as well as library programs.
